Wilton: Frequently Asked Questions




 Wilton students should always follow their course books when preparing for class. Here are some more suggestions to help you along the way and never think that you don't need  your supplies, as a cake decorator you always need all of your supplies, you never know where your design might lead you. What should I do for my last Wilton class?

Course 1: Bring 2 recipes of class buttercream stiff consistency ( you can always thin out in class with your med size bowl.)
Plan the design of your cake before you come to class. you may also have your icing pre-colored

Course 2:  Lightly ice your cake, we are doing the basket-weave on the side of your cakes and
the reverse shell on the trim and boarder.

Coures 3: Bring all of your pre-made flowers
Think of how you want to decorate you cake design, etc.
Large box of white fondant to cover your cake
